Today’s Topic: Time Will Bow

Today’s Scripture: “And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” (Genesis 37: 9)

MESSAGE: Streams of Joy 4 December 2022 Devotional

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of Joseph’s second dream, where the sun, moon and stars all bowed to him. In Genesis 1 vs. 14-16, God made the sun, moon and stars to divide the day from night, and to be for signs, seasons, days and years. The sun, moon and stars were meant to control times and seasons. So in Joseph’s dream, the elements that control times and seasons bowed to him. Times and seasons bowed to Joseph.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: times and seasons will bow to you. Times and seasons will never work against you. Every new season that comes on board will work for your good. Whatever change that happens around you will work for your good. Every new day will work for your good; every new week will work for your good; every new month will work for your good; the last month of 2022 will not work against you; when 2023 begins, it won’t work against you.

Joseph was born under the old covenant when man had lost dominion, but in the beginning, the sun, moon and stars were only given permission to rule over times and seasons; they were not permitted to rule over man. God says, times and seasons were not designed to rule over you; a season of lack and recession cannot rule over you; your sustenance is above times and seasons.

Times and seasons will always change, but they will all work for your good. Some days may look good while some days look bad; some seasons may appear favourable while others appear unfavourable. God says, both the good and bad days will work for your good; both the favourable and unfavourable seasons will work for your favour. Whatever happens in time, you have the power to dominate in all times and seasons.

If you are a partaker of the new covenant in Christ, then you are seated with Christ, far above principalities and powers. Times and seasons do not control God; times and seasons are God’s messengers, and if you are connected to Jesus, times and seasons will simply run errands for you.

Psalm 31: 15 says: “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.”

Declare With Me: Times and seasons are my loyal servants, they work for my good, in Jesus’ name!
