Read previous page an emphasis on Purpose
These are the step to a purposeful life.
- To live a righteous life
- To live an exemplary life.
- To multiply the word.
- To live a life of purity and meekness.
When saint paul was talking to Timothy, he detailed him the way to go about a purposeful life. As a youth, you must know the will of God for you, know why God called you, and also heed to the instructions given by the life manual (The Bible).
“For whom he did predestinate, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified “. (Romans 8:30)
“(For the children being not born yet, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of him that calleth” (Romans 9: 11)
God had predestined everybody because we are called for a purpose; not of evil but of good. The earlier we realize why God called us. The better for us.
Every one of us is purposeful and each of us needs to know that realizing your purpose is one achievement, as well as a step unto fulfilling it. In order to explore the gifts God gave us, and again to get to our destination. The most important aspect of this race is not to start it in a good form but reach the end in good faith.
Paul fought a good fight of faith to the end. He was fulfilled and never stopped to share it with Timothy who was in his youth. So, what is that hindrance to fulfilling your destiny? In the life of Joseph, when he had a dream and God showed him his call and purpose, he was determined and focused. For all that happened nothing stopped him, the temptation from his master’s wife (pleasure that many youths cannot let go of), Yet he pressed forward without minding what surrounded him. In the end, he was fulfilled and affected lives, not only his brothers and family but other people around, even to the land of Egypt whose citizens were not God’s people. What about you? Do unbelievers know you as a child of God?
Would Joseph have reached his destinations had he succumbed to the “one minute pleasure?” The answer is No! A minute pleasure has killed many youths. This is because they left the path of light to tread on the path of darkness. When one is carnal-minded what happens next?
“For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace . Because the carnal mind is in enmity against God, neither indeed can be.” (Romans 8: 6_7KJV)
Those who are workers of iniquities without repentance shall be condemned and will perish as it is stated in (Romans 6:23KJV).
“For the wages of sin is death nut the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”
When one is carnal he does things that annoy God things that displease God are sin and sinful in their nature: and sin will always result in death. youthful age is a time one needs to understand his purpose on earth and follow it up.
Let’s lake instances of portraits of persons from the life manual ( The Bible); Moses, Joshua, Joseph, David, Timothy, Pual, and many others. These persons discovered the truth and each his purpose; then followed it up and God used them throughout their lives. Therefore, when you do not understand the purpose for which God called you, your life will be wasted. Continue reading in the next sub-topic on PURPOSE
